Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) has announced 26 Monitoring and Evaluation Officer positions across Punjab, including 21 posts for eligible ex-servicemen.
PEF has opened recruitment for Monitoring and Evaluation Officers as part of its efforts to strengthen field monitoring of schools and education programmes across the province.
According to the recruitment details, 26 positions are available in different districts and tehsils of Punjab. Of these, 21 seats are reserved for former armed forces personnel, while five are available for fresh and civilian candidates.
Who Can Apply?
The ex-servicemen category is open to retired JCOs, NCOs and equivalent personnel from the Pakistan Army, Navy or Air Force.
Applicants from this category must have at least 14 years of education and should be between 30 and 55 years of age.
Fresh and civilian candidates can also apply for the relevant positions. They are required to have at least 16 years of education and must fall within the prescribed age range of 25 to 40 years.
A valid motorcycle driving licence is also listed among the requirements for the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer position. Candidates are expected to be physically fit and capable of carrying out field duties.
Monitoring Officers Role
The positions involve field-based monitoring of educational institutions and PEF programmes.
PEF already conducts physical inspections of partner schools to verify student enrolment, school infrastructure, records and compliance with its policies and standard operating procedures. Monitoring teams may also check facilities, cleanliness, security arrangements and other school related requirements.
The foundation’s Monitoring and Evaluation Department also carries out school selection verification, functionality checks, student information verification, quality assurance test monitoring and evaluation activities.
The newly recruited officers are therefore expected to perform regular field visits and provide monitoring information to the relevant PEF authorities.
