Successful candidates will be posted to one of the 17 teaching and specialty hospitals across Punjab, further listed below. Candidates indicate their preferences in the application form, but the department reserves the right to assign the final duty station based on merit and administrative necessity.
What Qualifications Does Each Post Require?
Hospital Monitoring Officer / Hospital Governance Executive requires a Master’s degree in Hospital Management, Health Services Management, Business Management or Public Administration from an HEC-recognized university. Candidates with a medical degree can also apply, provided they have any one of these management qualifications, if selected, they will not be allowed to engage in private practice during the period of their contract. The post also calls for a minimum of ten years of experience in a senior leadership role, with proven experience of supervising an organization of at least 5,000 employees.
Procurement Specialist/Officer requires a degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Finance, or any professional qualification such as ACCA or CA, from an HEC-recognized institution, along with a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience.
Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant requires a graduate degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Public Health, Statistics, Health Management, or Information Technology from an HEC-recognized university, along with a minimum of two years of relevant professional experience.
Employment Terms
These are lump sum contract posts for three years, extendable for one more period, not regular government appointments. The department has stated the salary package as competitive in the market without specifying the exact figures. Government employees already in service should apply through proper channel, and no TA/DA is paid for attending the interview.
