For Emergency Medical Technician posts, preference will be given to candidates holding a Diploma in Health Technology or Surgical Technology.
Driver applicants must also be physically fit. Only a valid driving licence issued by the Government of Pakistan will be accepted. A fresh licence application token will not be considered.

Age and Domicile Requirements
The age limit is 22 to 35 years for all advertised posts. Age relaxation may be granted under the existing government rules, but the advertisement does not state a separate relaxation period.

Physical Test
Candidates will first be allowed to take the physical or screening test provisionally. Their eligibility and documents will be checked in detail later. Anyone found ineligible can be removed from the recruitment process.
Male candidates must complete a one-mile run in 7 minutes. The minimum height requirement is 5 feet 6 inches, and the minimum chest measurement must be 33 inches.
Female candidates must run one mile within nine minutes and must be at least 5 feet 2 inches tall.
The advertisement also allows nine minutes for candidates aged 40 or above.
Written Test and Final Selection
Candidates need at least 40 percent marks to pass the screening or written test.
In the official notification, 70 marks for educational qualifications, 20 marks for the ETEA test, and 10 marks for the interview.
A separate ability or skill test may be held where needed. Driver applicants, for example, can be called for a practical driving test. Only shortlisted candidates will receive interview letters.
Selection will be made on merit. No travel or daily allowance will be paid for appearing in the physical test, written test or interview.
After approval by the selection committee, successful candidates will undergo a medical examination at Police and Services Hospital, Peshawar. They will also have to complete six months of training, or another period prescribed by Rescue 1122, and pass the required examinations.
Documents Required During Recruitment
Applicants should keep their original CNIC, educational certificates, degrees and mark sheets ready. The original CNIC will be needed for tests and interviews.
Educational documents will be checked by ETEA and the relevant authorities. Candidates who fail to attend the document quality check will not be considered for the remaining stages.
Applicants with foreign qualifications must provide an HEC equivalence certificate. Government and semi-government employees must apply through the proper channel and arrange an NOC.
Selected candidates will also need a police clearance certificate before receiving an appointment offer.
