Features of Our Letter Generator
Ready Styles for Every Situation
A letter for a quick exit is different from a letter written after years of service. You can pick Notice Period, Immediate, New Opportunity or Personal Reasons for resignations. For applications, choose Experienced, Fresh Graduate or Government Job. Each style changes the wording, not only the heading.
Four Tones to Match Your Reader
Choose Formal, Friendly, Brief or Traditional. Formal suits most private companies. Friendly works well when you have a good relationship with your manager. Brief keeps the letter short and direct. Traditional follows the Pakistani office style with greetings like “Respected Sir/Madam” and closings like “Yours obediently”.
Live A4 Preview
Your letter updates as you type. You can see exactly how the page will look before you download it. Change the font between Times New Roman, Arial, Georgia and Verdana, and adjust the size from 11 to 13 pt until it fits neatly on one page.
Smart Placeholders and Progress Bar
Fields you have not filled yet appear highlighted in the preview, so nothing important is missed. A progress bar shows how many required fields are complete, and a counter tells you how many fields are still empty.
Download as Word, PDF, Text or Copy
Export your letter as an editable Word file, save it as a PDF through the print window, download a plain text file, or copy it straight into an email. The Word option is useful when you want to add your company letterhead or make final edits.
Private and Free
Everything runs in your browser. Your name, CNIC and contact details are not sent to our server. The tool is free, needs no sign up, and has no limit on how many letters you create.
How to Create Your Letter in 5 Steps
Choose the letter type. Select Resignation, Experience or Application at the top of the form.
Pick a style and tone. For example, choose “Government job” with the Traditional tone for a public sector application.
Fill in your details. Add your name, company, dates and other facts. Use the “Fill sample” button if you want to see an example first.
Check the live preview. Fix any highlighted empty fields and adjust font and size until the letter looks right.
Download or copy. Save as Word or PDF, or copy the text into your email. Read it once more before you send it.
What to Include in Each Letter
Resignation Letter
A good resignation letter is short, polite and clear. It should state your position, your last working day and your notice period. Mention a handover plan if you can, and thank your employer. You do not have to explain every reason for leaving.
- Your name, address and contact details
- Date and the name of your manager or HR
- A clear statement that you are resigning, with your last working day
- A short thank-you and an offer to help with handover
Experience Letter
An experience letter is issued by the employer. It confirms that a person worked in the company and describes the role. A strong letter includes the full name, designation, department, joining and leaving dates, a line about performance, and the signature and stamp of the authorized person. Many foreign embassies, universities and employers ask for this letter on company letterhead.
Job Application Letter
An application letter introduces you before the employer reads your CV. Name the post you are applying for, say where you saw the advertisement, mention your qualification and experience, and explain briefly why you fit the role. For government posts, keep the language respectful and attach the documents the advertisement asks for.
Tip: Send your letter together with a CV that matches it. You can build one with our CV Builder and test it with the ATS Resume Checker.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Leaving placeholders in the letter. Always check that no highlighted field remains before you download.
- Writing too much. One page is enough for most letters. Use the Brief tone if you tend to over-explain.
- Using the wrong style. A government application and a corporate application are not written the same way.
- Forgetting the date and last working day. Employers need exact dates for records and clearance.
- Sending without proofreading. Read the final letter once, and make sure every fact is true.
