Who Can Apply?

Examination and Selection
The prescribed examination syllabus can be downloaded from the KPPSC website. Papers may be attempted in English or Urdu, except papers specifically relating to English and Urdu.
KPPSC may hold an examination, written test and interview or viva voce. If applications are received in large numbers, the Commission can conduct the examination before completing detailed scrutiny of every application.
Passing a test does not protect an ineligible candidate. KPPSC will check the applications and documents of shortlisted officers before taking the selection process further.
An eligible candidate holding the Quaid-e-Azam Police Medal or Pakistan Police Medal will receive 10 additional marks. Five additional marks will be given to an eligible candidate who has completed the six month Basic Elite Training Course.
