Who Should Consider These Jobs?
This is a mixed recruitment drive rather than one general intake. Each vacancy has its own professional requirements.
Experienced lawyers can consider the Legal Adviser post, provided they hold the required court enrolment. The Director Finance position is aimed at senior finance professionals, while the security role is more relevant to retired officers with command and operational experience.
The TAS positions cover examination operations, testing systems, software development, payments and accounts. Civil Engineering diploma holders with government project experience can apply for the Works position.
The Assistant post has the lowest academic requirement, but it still asks for six years of experience. Fresh FA graduates will therefore not meet its experience condition.
Senior Posts Requirements
Legal Adviser should have dealt with matters such as contracts, corporate work, civil or criminal litigation and regulatory issues.
For Director Finance, NPF is looking for experience in budgeting, audit, taxation, financial reporting, investment, revenue management and regulatory compliance. CA, ACMA, CMA, ACCA or an equivalent professional qualification will strengthen an application.
The Additional Director Security post is open to retired Armed Forces officers of Lieutenant Colonel rank or equivalent. Police and law enforcement officers of an equivalent level may also be considered. Special Operations, Special Forces, Staff Course or law enforcement experience will be preferred.
TAS Posts Technical Experience
The Senior Software Engineer position requires practical command of PHP with Laravel, MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server. Knowledge of REST APIs, external service integration, deployment and codebase management is also required.
For Junior Developer, NPF has asked for experience in application support or payment systems. Applicants should understand APIs, payment flows and transaction processing. Familiarity with digital banking systems, Microsoft Excel and SQL will be useful.
Contract, Salary and Age Relaxation
The initial contract will run for two years. It may be extended if performance is satisfactory, the organization still needs the position and both sides agree.
No salary amount or pay scale has been published. Applicants will need to obtain compensation details during the later stages of recruitment.
Age will be calculated on 15 October 2026. An upper age relaxation of five years may be allowed under Federal Government rules and NPF policy.
